Neighborhood No. 1
Neighborhood No. 1 begins what has developed into a study of the beauty of cities.
Cities are often described as fast-paced, overwhelmed with despair, consumed with social problems where concern and care for one another is rare. Within cities are dynamic and unique neighborhoods. Neighborhoods are the places where the everyday practice of life occurs. I was inspired by the simple act of relationships in our neighborhoods building stronger and healthier cities. Through the weaving of this social fabric that connects people to where they live the vitality and well-being of a city is impacted. Our relationships in neighborhoods have the potential to bring hope to our cities.
